TCS Valve Block

In contrast to the conventional ABS unit. the TC/ABS unit has a separate valve block (TC block), Fig. 3, to direct accumulator pressure for TC controlled braking of the appropriate wheel.
The pressure is directed to the front wheel circuits through the main valve and is modulated by the inlet and outlet valves for the front wheel indicating spin.
The TC block, Fig. 3, includes two control valves (C and D), a pressure reducing valve (N) and a pressure switch (E). The function of the control valve is to direct hydraulic pressure as required, depending on whether braking is TCS controlled or required for modulation in conjunction with ABS control.
