Line Pressure Test

Fig. 99 Fuel System Specifications:

1. Turn the switch to the on position. The line pressure should read as outlined in Fig. 99.
2. If the fuel pressure is too high, turn off the switch, disconnect the return line from the fuel regulator and check for restrictions. If the line is restricted, clean or replace as needed. Check the operation of the check valve at the fuel tank. If the line is clear, replace the fuel pressure regulator.
3. If the fuel pressure is too low, check for fuel in the tank, check for leaks in the fuel system, check the fuel pressure regulator.
