To aid in the diagnosis and repair of the EZK ignition system, a new special tool has been produced and made available to Saab dealers.

EZK TEST HARNESS P/N 83-94-058
Please refer to the 900 Service Manual section (B202i 16-Valve Injection Engine) on the new features of the 1986 900S. The section describes the usage of the test harness with regard to the light blinking sequences.



The test harness connects to a plug on the left front wheel house on 900S models. Some early production cars may have connecting plugs which were not wired to the latest specifications. Before you connect the test harness to any car, be sure to verify the wire locations and, if necessary, relocate to the correct positions as shown in the drawing.

This is not a required special tool. Supplies must be ordered from your Saab parts depot. See S.I. 10/85-791 for information about system diagnosis without this tool.
