FOLLOW UP TO S.I. 02/85-739

Manufacturing quality problems at the end fitting of hose P/N 75-43-275 have been solved and this part has been reinstated as a spare part, effective 2/28/85.

S.I. 02/85/739 prescribes replacing defective one piece hoses (75-43-275) with the earlier two piece design, P/N 75-40-347 plus P/N 75-40-339. Stock of the two piece design has run out and existing orders will be converted to P/N 75-43-275. Disregard the statement in the aforementioned S.I. about not using P/N 75-43-275.

The Parts Dept. will supersede P/N 75-40-347 to P/N 75-43-275 and discontinue P/N 75-40-339. Although it will no longer be supplied, the two piece design is an acceptable alternative for repair purposes and dealers should use any stock on hand.
