EGR Valve: Service and Repair

The EGR valve is located on the intake manifold below the throttle body.

1. Disconnect vacuum hose from EGR valve.
2. Remove two EGR valve-to-intake manifold retaining bolts.
3. Remove EGR valve from intake manifold and discard old gasket.
4. Clean EGR valve and intake manifold mating surfaces.
5. Reverse procedure to install, using new gasket.
