Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove instrument panel top cover.
3. Disconnect wiring connectors from the switch.
4. Remove the switch knob by depressing the release button on the bottom of the switch and pulling out knob from switch.
5. Remove headlamp knob bezel.
6. Remove the retaining nut to the headlamp switch.
7. Pull the headlamp switch and mounting plate rearward from the instrument panel opening.
8. Remove headlamp switch from instrument panel.

INSTALLATION
1. Position the headlamp switch in the instrument panel.
2. Install the retaining nut.
3. Install the headlamp knob bezel.
4. Install the headlamp knob in the switch until fully seated in the OFF position.
5. Connect the headlamp switch wiring connector.
6. Install the instrument panel top cover.
7. Connect the battery negative cable.
