Convertible Top Frame Bracket

CONVERTIBLE TOP FRAME BRACKET

REMOVAL

1. Open doors and lower top.
2. Remove quarter trim panel as necessary to access convertible top bolts.
3. Mark locations of convertible top to body bolt locations.

4. Remove bolts attaching convertible top to body (Fig. 2).
5. Disconnect rear window defogger wire connectors.

NOTE: The next procedure requires the assistance of a helper.

6. Carefully remove convertible top from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

1. With the aid of a helper, carefully place convertible top frame to bracket.
2. Align weld stud to plate to set height of convertible top frame.
3. Line up bolt markings.
4. Install bolts attaching convertible top frame to body brackets.
5. Connect rear window defogger wire connectors.
6. Verify proper operation.
