SYMPTOM
LEFT REAR TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR/TRANSMITTER
TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test LEFT FRONT TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR/TRANSMITTER.
WHEN MONITORED
Ignition ON. The Low Tire Pressure Warning (LTPW) Module monitors the tire pressure sensor/transmitters approximately once a minute (60 - 68 seconds) when the vehicle speed is above 33 Km/h (20 mph).
SET CONDITION
If the LTPW Module does not receive a transmission from the left rear tire pressure sensor/transmitter, after 32 tire pressure sensor/transmitter transmissions have been received by the LTPW Module, the DTC will be set.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Intermittent DTC
- Tire sensor/transmitter not programmed
- Tire sensor/transmitter road test
- Tire pressure sensor/transmitter internal fault
