Safing Sensor Open (Stored)

Test 1:

SYMPTOM
SAFING SENSOR OPEN - STORED

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test SAFING SENSOR OPEN - ACTIVE.

WHEN MONITORED
When the internal safing sensor circuit becomes open or a (driver or passenger) airbag line 2 is shorted and the line 1 is opened at the same time

SET CONDITION
The code is usually set due to an open circuit in the airbag control module. However, if either Driver or Passenger line 2 is shorted and the parred line 1 is opened at the same time, this code will set.
