SYMPTOM
PASSENGER SQUIB CIRCUIT SHORT - ACTIVE

WHEN MONITORED
When the ignition is ON, the ACM monitors the resistance of the Passenger Squib circuits.

SET CONDITION
The ACM has detected low resistance in the Passenger Squib circuits.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- DTC active with PAB in OFF position only
- Passenger airbag shorted
- Shorted PAB circuits between PAB and ON-OFF switch
- Passenger airbag line 1 shorted to line 2
- ON/OFF switch, PAB line 1 shorted to line 2
- ACM, passenger airbag circuit short
