SYMPTOM
FRONT SENSOR CIRCUIT SHORT - ACTIVE

WHEN MONITORED
When the ignition is ON, the ACM monitors the Front Impact Sensor circuits for a short to battery or ground.

SET CONDITION
The code will set if the ACM detects a short to battery or ground in the Front Impact Sensor circuits.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- PAB ON-OFF switch shorted
- Clockspring, driver airbag circuits shorted
- PAB circuits shorted between PAB and switch
- PAB ON-OFF switch shorted
- Circuits shorted to battery
- Circuits shorted to ground
- Impact sensors
- Impact sensor circuits shorted together
- ACM, front impact sensor circuit short
