SYMPTOM
HVAC MODE DOOR INOPERATIVE

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition ON and battery voltage above 10.0 volts.

SET CONDITION
The mode door fails to indicate a stall condition during motor calibration or during failed feedback calibration.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Check for an air flow change
- Fused ignition switch output circuit open
- Open ground circuit at motor
- A/C mode door driver (A) circuit shorted to ground
- A/C mode door driver (B) circuit shorted to ground
- A/C mode door driver (A) circuit open
- A/C mode door driver (B) circuit open
- Check the mode doors for a binding condition
- Mode door actuator
- Open ground circuit
- Open A/C mode switch MUX circuit
- A/C heater control
- Body control module - open A/C mode switch MUX circuit
- Body control module
