SYMPTOM
PRESET SWITCH FAILURE

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test MUTE SWITCH FAILURE.

WHEN MONITORED
Monitored any time the ignition is ON.

SET CONDITION
The BCM has sensed a shorted preset switch for 20 seconds. Note: This is a stored code and will not clear itself until after 20 key cycles.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Left remote radio switch
- Right remote radio switch
- Radio control ground circuit open
- Radio control MUX circuit open
- Radio control MUX circuit short to voltage
- Radio control MUX circuit short to ground
- BCM-radio control
