Code No. 41, 42, 83 Shift Control Solenoid Valve A (SCSV-A) System

Description

If the shift control solenoid valve A shows a high resistance value, code No. 41 is output to indicate that the shift control solenoid valve A is open-circuited. If it shows a low resistance value, code No. 42 is output to indicate that the shift control solenoid valve A is short-circuited. If control No. 41 or 42 is output four times, fail safe code No. 83 is output to indicate that shift control solenoid valve A has been open- or short-circuited and this activates the fail safe function to lock transaxle at the 3rd speed.
