Code No.11, 12, 13, 14 Throttle Position Sensor System

Description

When the TPS output exceeds 4.8V while the engine is running at idle, code No. 11 is output to indicate that the TPS output is excessive. When the TPS output falls below 0.2V while the engine is running at a speed other than idle, code No. 12 is output to indicate that the TPS output is too low. If the TPS output at idle and the target value in the transaxle control module do not coincide even after proper adjustment, code No. 13 is output to indicate that the TPS sensor is out of order. If the TPS output falls below 0.2V or exceeds 1 .2V while the engine is running at idle, code No. 14 is output to indicate that the TPS is out of adjustment.

Probable Cause of Trouble

- Defective throttle position sensor
- Defective connector
- Defective transaxle control module
