1. Remove cotter pin and nut, then separate tie rod end from steering knuckle using steering linkage puller tool No. MD990635 or equivalent. Suspend tie rod from chassis with cord.
2. Remove center member rear attaching bolts, and remove roll stopper mounting bolts.
3. Using a suitable Allen wrench to hold link studs in position, remove stabilizer link lock nuts.
4. Remove stabilizer bar link.
5. Remove stabilizer bar mounting bolts, and remove stabilizer bar through steering gear access provided in body.
6. Reverse procedure to install. When installing stabilizer link, tighten nut until 0.12 to 0.20 inch of stud thread protrudes above nut.
