This bulletin is issued to revise the 1987 Colt Service Manual, Volume 1, publication #81-270-7011, page 14-22.

ELECTRIC CHOKE RELAY
The electric choke relay is normally closed (on) and it opens when its coil is energized. During engine cranking, the ECU turns on the power transistor to energize the electric choke relay coil. This prevents heating of the electric choke heater, improving engine starting.
