The inspection section has been changed to read as follows:
Inspection
1) Inspect the rotating condition of the cooling fan by hand. If the fan rotates smoothly with a definite resistance, the cooling fan is in good condition. Replace the fan clutch if any of the following conditions are present.
(A) Cooling fan rotates freely (no resistance is felt).
(B) Cooling fan turns hard (excessive resistance is felt).
(C) Cooling fan is locked.
2) Check for leaks at the case joining surfaces and bearing seal. If leaks are evident, replace clutch as an assembly (Figure 17).

Page 8-74 - The General section has been changed to read as follows:
General
The dropping resistor method has been adopted to the QGS.
^ The dropping resistor takes the role of resistance to decrease voltage to the glow plug.
^ The relay changes the dropping resistor circuit.
^ An ultra-quick heating method has been adopted to the glow plug.
^ A change control circuit to change circuit to heating circuit has been adopted to the control unit.
The QGS has two main circuits to maintain the glow plug at constant temperature and to shorten the pre-starting time. One is the quick heat circuit, which applies battery voltage (12 volts) to the glow plug.
The other is the heat stabilization circuit which decreases voltage applied to the glow plug, by changing the power source circuit to the dropping circuit, when the glow plug reaches the design temperature.
