Initial Inspection - Information and Message Center

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the system.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.

3. If an obvious fault is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
4. Verify that the following instrument cluster gauges are working correctly:
- Fuel level gauge
- Speedometer
5. If a gauge is not working correctly, refer to Instrument Cluster.
6. If the fault is not visually evident, proceed to the Symptom Chart to continue diagnostics. Diagnosis By Symptom - Information and Message Center
