A7 - Check Inertia Switch Input For Short to Ground

- Disconnect the inertia fuel shutoff switch connector.

- Passive restraint control module connector C2 disconnected.

- Measure the resistance of "GN/R" between the passive restraint control module connector and ground.

- Is the resistance less than 10,000 ohms?

YES -- Service the "GN/R" wire.

NO -- Reset the inertia fuel shutoff switch. Replace inertia fuel shutoff switch if it does not reset.
