Throttle Cable/Linkage: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal and shaft.
2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle control lever.

Accelerator Cable And Bracket Assembly:

3. Squeeze the lock tabs and remove the accelerator cable from the accelerator cable bracket.
4. Squeeze the lock tabs securing the accelerator cable to the dash panel and pull the cable through the routing hole and remove the accelerator cable.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
