KF51 - Check Power Circuit Continuity to Inoperative Fan

- Key "OFF".

- Inoperative cooling fan disconnected.

- Disconnect the other cooling fan.

- Measure resistance of the Power-to-Fan circuits between the cooling fan vehicle harness connectors.

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Replace inoperative cooling fan. Reconnect cooling fans. Re-evaluate symptom.

No -- Service open circuit. Reconnect cooling fans. Re-evaluate symptom.
