Speedometer Gear:





Fluid level checking is accomplished by using the speedometer driven gear as a dipstick.

1. Disconnect the speedometer cable from the gear, and remove it from the transaxle.
2. Wipe all traces of fluid from the gear and reinsert it in the transaxle.
3. If the oil is below the full mark, add as necessary.
