Variable Induction Control Actuator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the plunger retaining clip.
2. Disconnect the actuator vacuum hose.

High Speed Inlet Air (HSIA) Actuator:

3. Remove the actuator mounting bolts and remove the actuator.

High Speed Inlet Air (HSIA) Actuator:

INSTALLATION
1. Place the shutter valve actuator into its mounting position and install the mounting bolts.
2. Connect the actuator vacuum hose.
3. Install the plunger retaining clip.
