Location
The tank pressure sensor is integrated in the top of the fuel level indicator sensor.

Task
The fuel tank pressure sensor detects the pressure inside the fuel tank for testing for leaks in the purge system (leak test).

Function
The fuel tank pressure sensor detects the internal pressure of the fuel tank and issues a corresponding voltage signal to the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).
The voltage supply of 5 V is performed by the ME-SFI [ME] control unit.
