1 Disconnect violet 10-pin coupling (5) from front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
2 Disconnect green 10-pin coupling (6) from front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
3 Disconnect green 18-pin coupling in marked area (arrow A) from front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
4 Disconnect blue 18-pin coupling in marked area (arrow B) from front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).






5 Remove gray line (gr) from contact cavity "10" of violet 10-pin coupling (5) and cut off plug contact.
6 Remove green line (gn) from contact cavity "1" of green 10-pin coupling (6) and cut off plug contact.






7 Connect the gray line (gr) removed from the violet 10-pin coupling (5) with a potential distributor (7) to the gray line (gr).
Use a 100 mm long gray line (gr) with a cross section of 0.5 mm.
The potential distributor (7) can be found in the wiring harness repair kit.

8 Connect the green line (gn) removed from the green 10-pin coupling (6) with a potential distributor (7) to the green line (gn).
Use a 100 mm long green line (gn) with a cross section of 0.5 mm.
The potential distributor (7) can be found in the wiring harness repair kit.

9 Crimp one "MQS" plug contact (8) each on green line (gn) and gray line (gr).
The "MQS" plug contact (8) to be installed into the green 18-pin coupling (10) and the blue 18-pin coupling (9) can be found in the wiring harness repair kit.






10 Remove contact carrier from green 18-pin coupling (10) and blue 18-pin coupling (9).
11 Install green line (gn) into slot "15" of contact carrier of blue 18- pin coupling (9).
12 Install gray line (gr) into slot "10" of contact carrier of green 18- pin coupling (10).
13 Install contact carrier into green 18-pin coupling (10) and blue 18-pin coupling (9).
14 Connect violet 10-pin coupling (5), green 10-pin coupling (6), green 18-pin coupling (10) and blue 18-pin coupling (9) to front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
