AR72.12-P-1500-01TX Adjust Window Guide Rail On Rear Door

Check And Adjustment Values For Rear Door:

Special Tool:

Check, shown on left rear door
1. Close rear door and check adjustment of window guide rail (1) as well as dimension "e" of corner window, adjust if necessary

The upper end of the window guide rail (1) and the corner window should make uniform contact with the window seal (5).

2. Open rear door, remove covers (2) and loosen bolts (3).
3. Remove cover (4) and loosen inner nut with socket wrench.
4. Close rear door and raise window guide rail (1) until window guide rail seal (1) makes contact with window seal (5) (arrow) and dimension "e" is adjusted
5. Hold window guide rail (1) in this position, open rear door and tighten bolts (3)
6. Close rear door and recheck adjustment of window guide rail (1) as well as dimension "e" of corner window, repeat adjustment if necessary
7. Tighten interior nut behind cover (4) with socket wrench and install covers (2) as well as cover (4).
