GF77.20-P-5224SX Normalize/Denormalize Panoramic Sliding Roof, Function
- with CODE (413) Panoramic glass roof with top sliding roof
- up to model year 08
Normalization function sequence
Manually close panoramic sliding roof or front roller sun blind with roof switch (N70s1) or rear roller sun blind with rear roller sun blind switch (N70s10) until the mechanical stop is reached and then continue to actuate the corresponding switch.
The overhead control panel control unit (N70) continues to actuate the roof system drive unit (M12), the front roller sun blind motor (M54) or the rear roller sun blind motor (M54/1) and sets the position counter to zero, if a lock-up of the roof system motor (M12m1), front roller sun blind motor (M54m1) or rear roller sun blind motor (M54/1m1) is recognized for approx. 0.5 s.
Before the lock-up position is reached, the Hall sensors (M12b1, M12b2, M54b1, M54b2, M54/1b1, M54/1b2) should recognize at least 3 signal edges.
The panoramic sliding roof, the front roller sun blind and the rear roller sun blind are now in the normalized state, i.e the overhead control panel control unit switch off the motor before the mechanical stop is reached during automatic opening.
Normalization must be performed whenever denormalization has taken place. The overhead control panel control unit does not know the position of the panoramic sliding roof, the front roller sun blind or the rear roller sun blind when denormalized.
Denormalization takes place:
^ In the event of loss of c. 30 during roof motion
^ When the defined motion area is exited
Automatic adjustment is not possible in the denormalized state.
