GF77.20-P-3008SX Panoramic Sliding Roof Position Measurement, Function
GF77.20-P-3008SX Panoramic Sliding Roof Position Measurement, Function
- with CODE (413) Panoramic glass roof with sliding roof
- up to model year 08
Function requirements
^ Panoramic sliding roof, front roller sun blind and rear roller sun blind normalized
To realize this function
^ the roof system drive unit (M12) is equipped with
- Hall sensor 1, roof system (M12b1) and
- Hall sensor 2, roof system (M12b2)
^ the front roller sun blind motor (M54) with
- Hall sensor 1, front roller sun blind (M54b1) and
- Hall sensor 2, front roller sun blind (M54b2)
^ the rear roller sun blind motor (M54/1) with
- Hall sensor 1, rear roller sun blind (M54/1b1) and
- Hall sensor 2, rear roller sun blind (M54/1b2)
The signals from the Hall sensors are evaluated by the overhead control panel control unit (N70).
Position measurement
The "closed" position of the panoramic sliding roof, front roller sun blind and rear roller sun blind is defined as zero position, i.e. when the panoramic sliding roof, the front roller sun blind and rear roller sun blind are completely closed, the position counter is set to zero. The zero position is set by the normalization function.
Direction of rotation recognition
The position of the panoramic sliding roof, front roller sun blind and rear roller sun blind is evaluated by the corresponding Hall sensors. The current position is determined from the signals from the Hall sensor 1 and the direction of rotation from the relative phase shift in relation to the signal from Hall sensor 2.
