GF77.20-P-0003SX Electric Panoramic Sliding Roof, Function
- with CODE (413) Panoramic glass roof with top sliding roof
- up to model year 08

The panoramic sliding roof consists of an adjustable front glass roof and a stationary rear glass roof. Moreover, two roller sun blinds are installed.

The following functions can be controlled via the overhead control panel control unit (N70):
^ Open or close front glass roof to pop-up position
^ Open or close front glass roof to sliding position
^ Open or close front roller sun blind
^ Open or close rear roller sun blind

The panoramic sliding roof can only be opened when the front roller sun blind is open completely.

The following function can be operated via the roof roller blind switch (S21/21s2 and S21/22s2) in the left rear door power window/roller blind switch group (S21/21) or right rear door power window/roller blind switch group (S21/22):
^ Open or close rear roller sun blind

The rear roller sun blind cannot be operated via the switch groups, when the child safety feature is activated by the driver power window outside mirror and trunk lid switch group (S20/1).

Automatic opening
If the roof switch (N70s1) is actuated to the second catch in the opening direction via the overhead control panel control unit, the front roller sun blind is first opened automatically to the end position. When actuated again, the front glass roof opens to the corresponding end position.

The front glass roof closing operation as well as all other functions can only be actuated manually, i.e. as long as the button is pressed.

Normalization
Normalization includes learning in the limit stops (closed state) for the front roller sun blind, rear roller sun blind and the front glass roof in the overhead control panel control unit.

Lock-up recognition and position measurement
The position or a lock-up of the front roller sun blind, rear roller sun blind and front glass roof is sensed or recognized by the signals from the Hall sensors (M12b1, M12b2, M54b1, M54b2, M54/1b1, M54/1b2).
