Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary.

Component Identification:

Checking
1 Switch off ignition.
2 Unlock and disconnect connector of temperature switch for rear axle differential cooling circuit (X15/1).
3 Connect plug contacts with adapter line from electrical connection kit.
4 Switch on ignition and check oil pump of rear axle differential cooling circuit (M75) by means of running noise.

Allow ignition to be switched on for a maximum of 30 seconds, otherwise there is the threat of damage to the oil pump (M75)!

The running noise of the oil pump (M75) must reduce as soon as the oil flows through the oil pump (M75).
If the oil pump (M75) does not run, establish and eliminate the cause subject to a separate repair order.

5 Switch off ignition.
6 Detach adapter line and connector (X15/1) plug together connector.
