AZ88.00-P-0001-02V Converting Front Bumper
- up to 2.3.08







1. Install sheet metal nuts (2) in bumper (1) on left and right each.







2. Install sheet metal nuts (3) each on left fog lamp (E5/1) and right fog lamp (E5/2)







3. Fasten left fog lamp (E5/1) and right fog lamp (E5/2) in bumper with bolts (4).







4. Connect wiring harness for fog lamp (5) to left fog lamp (E5/1) and right fog lamp (E5/2) and close with seal (6)
5. Install one cable tie (7) each on seal (6).







6. Install mounting clips (9) in present holes on bumper (1) (6 each).

Openings of mounting clips (9) should point toward the front of the vehicle

7. Insert air ducting (10) into bumper (1) and fasten with expansion clips (8) (6 each).







8. Vehicles with code (600a) Headlamp cleaning system
- Fasten HCS cover (15) to bumper with expansion clips (16).







9. Clip inner section (23) into bumper (1) on left and right each and fasten with expansion clip.

Inner parts (23) are mounted as performed on standard bumper

10. Install support panel (11) on bumper (1) on left and right each with expansion clip (25)
11. Install sheet metal nuts (12) on bumper (1) on left and right each.
12. Insert left impact absorber (13), right impact absorber and center impact absorber (14) into bumper (1)
13. Vehicles with code (220a) Parktronic system (PTS)
- Clip front bumper left outer sensor (A42b1), front bumper center left sensor (A42b2) and front bumper left inner sensor (A42b3) into brackets.
- Route wiring harness for PTS sensors in present recesses in left impact absorber (13) and center impact absorber (14) and connect to PTS sensors.







14. Vehicles with code (220a) Parktronic system (PTS)
- Clip front bumper inner right sensor (A42b4) and front bumper center right sensor (A42b5) into brackets.
- Route wiring harness for PTS sensors in present recesses in center impact absorber (14) and right impact absorber (19) and connect to sensors.







15. Vehicles with code (220a) Parktronic system (PTS)
- Clip front bumper outer right sensor (A42b6) into bracket.
- Route wiring harness for PTS sensors in present recesses in right impact absorber (19) and connect to sensor.
- Fasten PTS, front bumper connector (X26/27) to right inner section (28) with expansion clip (27).







16. Remove radiator paneling (17) in bumper (1).

Install radiator paneling (17) in the same manner as the standard bumper.

17. Clean contact surface and glue reinforcement (18) to bumper (1).
18. Install bumper (1) in vehicle.







19. Adjust left fog lamp (E5/1) and right fog lamp (E5/2).
20. Install left grate (24) around left fog lamp (E5/1) with bolts (20).
21. Install right grate (21) around right fog lamp (E5/2) with bolts (20).
22. Clip center grate (22) into bumper (1).







23. Fasten license plate bracket (25) to bumper (1) with bolts (29).

The license plate molding (25) is installed in the same manner as the standard bumper.
