Component Identification:
1. Check window (3) for scratches and damage.
2.1. Cut adhesive material residue on window (3) down to approx. 2 mm with scraper.
Only when using window (3) previously installed.
3.1. Pull off loose adhesive material (remaining pieces which are not completely cut off).
Only when using window (3) previously installed.
4.1. Clean window (3) with cleaning rag from 1- or 2-component repair kit and rub dry with rag.
Only when using new window (3).
5. Glue on foam rubber insulation (2) onto window (3) according to dimensions specified.
Precisely observe specified dimensions.
Order foam rubber insulation (2) as replacement part.
6.1. Apply activator from 1- or 2-component repair kit to window (3) and rub dry with rag.
Only when using new window (3).
7.1. Repair damaged primer layer on window (3) with primer from 1- or 2-component repair kit.
Only when using window (3) previously installed.
8. Apply primer from 1- or 2-component repair kit to window (3) (maximum width 20 mm).
Replacement parts for windshields are generally delivered with a viewing window (1) at the bottom left. If the inspection window (1) is not required, always coat this area on the inside with Betaprime from the 1- or 2-component repair kit before installing window.
Allow primer to air-dry for min. 10 minutes.
