AR64.20-P-1150-01QA Remove Upper Rear Cross Member For Soft Top Compartment

Repair Materials:

1. Mark separation point and cut with body saw (area G).
2. Expose spot welds and cut out with spot weld cutter (areas H, I, J and L).
3. Cut out MIG weld (area K).
4. Remove upper rear cross member for soft top compartment.







5. Expose spot welds and cut out with spot weld cutter (areas M, N, O, P and Q. Area M1 from inside).
6. Cut out riveted nuts and remove.
7. Remove section.







8. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas. Sand spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.
9. Remove grinding and drilling chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
10. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
