GF32.31-P-5105TX Level Sensor, Component Description

GF32.31-P-5105TX Level sensor, component description
- with CODE (489a) Airmatic (semi-active air suspension)

Component Identification:

A level sensor is installed at both the left front axle and the right front axle.

Component Identification:

The system features just one level sensor at the rear axle torsion bar.

Component Identification:

Determine the current vehicle level at the front and rear axles. Pass the values to the AIRmatic with ADS control unit (N51).

Design
2 sensors in a single housing (redundant design).

The AIRmatic with ADS control unit (N51) supplies the level sensor with a rated voltage of 5 V. The level sensor then outputs two opposing variable voltage signals depending on the current level of the vehicle.

If the vehicle level changes, one voltage signal rises linearly while the voltage of the opposing signal decreases linearly. At the normal level, the voltage of both signals is approx. 2.5 V.

Signal redundancy
If one signal fails, the system uses the signal of the other sensor.
