- with CODE (386) Preinstallation for "portable CTEL" UPCI telephone system
- with CODE (388) "Portable CTEL" UPCI telephone system








1 Remove MOST carrier element (14) of the ordered MOST wiring harness out of the MOST connector housing (11).
2 Unclip blue retaining clip (15) from MOST carrier element (14).
3 Clip fiber optical cable module (7) from chamber 1 (input) into chamber 2 (output).

The other end of the fiber optical cable module (7) is later installed in the MOST carrier element for radio and navigation operating unit (A2/56).







4 Unclip MOST carrier element (13) from black, 6-pin connector for radio and navigation operating unit (A2/56).
5 Unclip kink inhibitor (20) from fiber optical cable module (9).

Fiber optical cable module (9) is installed in chamber 1 (input).

6 Open approx. 400 mm of the sheathing of the vehicle's own MOST wiring harness with the fiber optical cable modules (8, 9).
7 Unclip blue retaining clip of MOST carrier element (13) and install fiber optical cable module (9) from chamber 1 (input) into chamber 1 (input) of the new MOST carrier element (14).
8 Clip blue retaining clip (15) into MOST carrier element (14).
9 Install MOST carrier element (14) into MOST connector housing (11).

The MOST connector housing (11) is later connected to the wiring harness of the CD changer (A2/6).

Component Identification:






10 Install fiber optical cable module (7) of the new MOST wiring harness into chamber 1 (input) of the MOST carrier element (13).
11 Install blue retaining clip (16) into MOST carrier element (13).
12 Join together fiber optical cable modules as per dimensioning.
13 Wrap felt tape around bound MOST wiring harness.
14 Attach kink inhibitor (20) to fiber optical cable module (7).
15 Install MOST carrier element (13) into black, 6-pin connector for radio and navigation operating unit (A2/56).
