Remove/Install Camber Strut







DANGER:
- Risk of death. Death may result if vehicle slips or topples from the lifting platform.
- Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

CAUTION:
- While working on the rear axle care must be taken to ensure that the surface of all aluminum components do not get any scratches, cracks and notches. Otherwise the service life of the parts will be affected
- See notes on self-locking nuts and bolts

1 Remove rear axle.

CAUTION: Secure rear axle with tensioning strap to prevent it from falling down.

NOTE: Do not remove the rear axle from the assembly cap

2 Detach camber strut (2) on wheel carrier (3) and rear axle carrier (4)

CAUTION: Installation: The mount must be in the design reference position when tightening. Otherwise the rubber mounts are constantly under preload and are damaged as a result.

3 Install in the reverse order.
