A. Inspection of Bracket and Mounting Bores

1. Open hood.





2. Check if bracket (arrow, Figure 1) is installed on the SBC hydraulic unit:

^ If bracket (arrow) is installed, proceed to Subject B, step 22: Check software release.

^ If bracket (arrow) is not installed, proceed to next step.





3. Check for bracket mounting bores (arrows Figure 2) in the SBC hydraulic unit:

^ If bores are not present, a clamp-on harness mounting bracket must be installed. Proceed to Subject B and complete the procedure in its entirety.

^ If bores are present, proceed to subject B and do not perform step 18: Installation of clamp-on mounting bracket.
