Rocker Arm Assembly: Service Precautions

Notes on coupling rocker arm





The rocker shafts (1, 2) are assigned to the coupling rocker arm (3) via code numbers stamped on the components.

The code numbers of the rocker shafts (1, 2) are located on the end face of the respective rocker shaft. (see figure)

The code numbers of the coupling rocker arms (3) are located once on the valve lever (4) and the roller lever (5). (see figure).

After assembly, the valve lever (4) and roller lever (5) must have the same code number.
