Function
The roof system drive unit is a combined sliding and tilting roof.The sliding roof opens to the rear. The tilting roof opens upwards. The sliding and tilting roofs cannot be opened simultaneously. Operation is by means of the roof system switch (N70s1) in the overhead control panel control module. The roof system switch (N70sl) can be used to deploy the following functions:

1 : Slide "CLOSE" manual-deploys - losing of sliding roof
2 : Slide "CLOSE" automatic-deploys - one-touch closing of sliding roof
3 : Slide "OPEN" manual-deploys - opening of sliding roof
4 : Slide "OPEN" automatic-deploys - one-touch opening of sliding roof
5 : Slide "CLOSE" manual-deploys - closing of tilting roof
6 : Tilt "CLOSE" automatic-deploys - one-touch closing of tilting roof
7 : Tilt "OPEN" manual-deploys - opening of tilting roof
8 : Tilt "OPEN" automatic-deploys - one-touch opening of tilting roof

The automatic function allows the roof to be adjusted to the last position set (and stored) by briefly activating the switch. The convenience feature function with the sub-functions convenience closing and convenience opening closes/opens the tilting/sliding roof by means of the " Lock "/ "Unlock" buttons on the transmitter key (A8/1).
