If Triggering Device Is Not Available

When firing airbags, side airbags or emergency tensioning retractors they must first be removed and placed in a scrap vehicle (doors closed) if possible.

1. Fabricate firing cable with minimum length of 10 m with push button.
2. Connect 2-pin connector to corresponding airbag, side airbag or emergency tensioning retractor.
3. Connect firing cable to battery. Press both buttons simultaneously from specified safety interval (10 m).

When a loose airbag or side airbag is fired, the 2-pin connector is damaged. For this reason the 2-pin connector can no longer be used after firing an airbag.
