Optical Alarm Function

The ATA control module (N26) controls the sequence for the visual signals. The sequence differs depending on the national version.
- ECE: turn signal lamps flash for 5 minutes 2.5 times per second
- (USA): Fog lamps and taillamps for 2.5 minutes approx. once per second.

The lamps are controlled directly by the ATA control module (N26).

The following applies for both national versions:
As long as the alarm is present the interior lighting is switched on.


NOTE: The alarm can be terminated by activating or deactivating the ATA. After termination by activating the ATA the ATA remains active.
