Removing And Installing Oil Pressure Relief Valve






1 Remove oil pan (10)

2 Remove screw plug (1)

CAUTION: Screw plug (1) is under pressure because of spring (2).

NOTE: Screw plug (1) seals with tapered seat (arrow).

3 Remove spring (2), filler pin (3) and control plunger (4)
- Inspect for signs of wear.

NOTE: The control plunger (4) must be capable of slight movement in the oil-pump's hole.

4 Install in the reverse order.
