ESP Brake Pressure Sensor

Location
In left of engine compartment.

Task
To recognize the driver's braking requirement by measuring the master brake cylinder pressures.

ESP Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (0B34/1):
To generate an electrical signal which corresponds to the pressure of the hydraulic fluid in the front axle circuit

ESP Brake Pressure Sensor 2 (B34/2):
To generate an electrical signal which corresponds to the pressure of the hydraulic fluid in the rear axle circuit

Function
A ceramic sensor element records the pressure of the brake fluid. In its metal housing is an electronic module which supplies the pressure signal to the ESP/BAS control module (N47-5) as an analog voltage.
