Window Shade: Service and Repair

Preliminary work:
Disconnect cable lead at battery
Remove rear shelf. Service and Repair






Fixing nuts (arrows, figure 1)
unscrew from the trunk (6.5 - 7 Nm)
use special tool 001 589 72 21 00.

Plug connector on motor (arrow, figure 2)
disconnect.

Roller blind (1)
remove.

Installation
install in opposite order.


NOTE: Align roller blind if required and only finally tighten after installing the rear shelf - note tightening torque.
After completing the repair, adjust basic settings of side windows for the automatic raising/lowering.
