D Non-return valve
The non-return valve prevents the oil filter running dry when the engine is switched off. Opening pressure 0.2 bar.

E Thermostat Insert - oil cooler feet
The thermostat insert opens from an oil temperature of 106°C and passes the engine oil through the air/oil cooler into the filter chamber of the oil filter. Fully open at 125°C.

F Oil filter bypass valve
The bypass valve opens at a flow quantity of 1 I/min., 3 � 0.4 bar and unfiltered engine oil flows into the oil circuit.

G Oil discharge valve
When the oil filter element (4) is raised, the oil discharge valve opens and the engine oil flows out of the filter chamber of the oil filter into the oil pan.
