Conrod bolts
Re-use up to max. 52.9 mm.
Thread and bolt head contact surface
Oil before installing.
Con Rod bolts
Pro-tighten with torque wrench 001 589 66 21 00.
Con Rod bolts
Tighten with angle tightener. Pay attention to note.

NOTE:
From 05.93 modified conrod bolts are installed. The tightening torque remains unchanged. Stretch shank bolt with rolled head.

NOTE:
If no angle tightener is available, the conrod bolt can be further tightened by the specified angle in a single operation with a socket wrench and lever. Do not use bending-rod torque wrenches to avoid any angle errors when tightening according to angle of rotation.
