Transponder Coil

Purpose
The transponder coil (L11) serves as the data link between the transponder and DAS infrared control module (N54/1).

Function
After the ignition is switched ON the coil for the transponder (L11) is actuated by the DAS infrared control module (N54/1) supplying power to the transponder in the key also containing a coil inductively via the resulting field.

Location
Plugged on to the ignition/starter switch.
