Preparing Window For Installation
When using previously installed windshield:
Cut off glue residues on windshield down to a few tenth of a millimeter. Pull off loose glue (residues not completely cut off) and wipe gluing area with lint free rag. Do not use cleansing agent of any kind. Repair damaged primer coat on windshield with primer.
Allow primer to air dry for at least 5 minutes.
When installing new windshield:
Check windshield for scratches and damage. Remove cleaner from repair kit and apply in gluing area with lint-free rag, then rub dry with second rag
Replacement windshield are generally shipped with a viewing window at the bottom left. If the viewing window is not required, always coat this area with primer from the repair kit on the inside before installing.

When more than 24 hours have passed since cutting through the bead of glue it is also necessary to apply primer to the glue residue on the window
Allow primer to air dry for at least 5 minutes.
Shake primer thoroughly and apply to window in gluing area (maximum 20 mm)
Allow primer to air dry for at least 5 minutes.
