Quarter Window Regulator: Service and Repair

Preliminary work:
Rear side window removed.






Screws (1) for top of window lift
screw out (2 each).

Screw (2) for plastic cover
screw out.

Screws (arrows) on top retaining plate
screw out (5 each).

Retaining plate and plastic cover
remove upward.

Exterior panelling on rear fender
remove.

Mounting nuts (3) at bottom
loosen.

Electrical connections
disconnect on electric window motor.

Screws (4) on electric window motor
screw out (3 each).

Electric window motor
remove toward inside.

Window lift
remove upward.

Reinstall
in opposite order.

Rear side window
adjust. Adjustments


NOTE: The motor for the electrically operated window must be resynchronized (basic adjustment). For this purpose close window with electric window switch (not in automatic closing mode) and allow to run against stop for 1 - 2 s.
